Merry Christmas!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. We had quite a busy one but it was a really good one. We started out with our Christmas Eve Tradition. We each get to open up a present on Christmas Eve which is always brand new pajamas. We then head out to listen to Christmas music and look at Christmas lights. We drive from neighborhood to neighborhood looking at lights until we see Rudolph's nose and then we hurry home. It has gotten harder and harder each year finding Rudolph's nose. Most of the time we only find airplanes and cell phone towers but in the end we do find his nose. When we get home we put out our cookies for Santa, the carrots for Rudolph and a cup for hot chocolate. We then read the Christmas Story and T'was the Night Before Christmas and then we go to bed.

The kids must have been really good this year because they got everything they had asked for.

The kids didn't get us up until about 8:00 (how nice since mom and dad didn't get to sleep until about 3:00). Damien said he was up at 4:30 but just stayed in bed listening to Christmas music until his sisters got up.



Damien was really really surprised to see Santa brought the family a Wii. He has been working so hard trying to save up to get one that Santa decided that he would help out and give the family one. Now he has some money saved up for some of the games he wants.



I just barely missed a sweet tender moment between the girls. Kaytlinn had given Kylie "The Barbie and the Diamond Castle" movie. Kylie was so excited to get it and gave her a big hug. Dang camera was too slow turning on.

Later in the day we went to Christmas dinner at Dennis' step dad's cousins house. We had a great time and didn't get home until about 8:30 that evening. I love the holidays because we get to spend so much time with family and friend's celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.
